Jane Austen (1775 – 1817)

Jane Austen famously lived in Bath and her novels include Northanger Abbey and Persuasion which were both set in the city. The beautiful Georgian architecture makes it easy to picture the culture in which she lived and wrote.

The exhibition will feature an impressive waxwork image of Jane Austen which has been created from eye-witness accounts of  the author.
